How do I buy an event ticket in Osaka this month/last minute?
This month's tickets or last minute tickets can be hard to find as you may not be sure how to get them, but the clock is ticking... Here are some tips on what to book for last-minute events.
1. Plan from what you can purchase
If you are planning to buy tickets for an event in the last few minutes, you may want to know which options are more likely to be available. Here are a few tips for each genre.
1. Soccer: Soccer (or football) tickets are usually available and are not sold out except for derby matches (e.g. Gamba Osaka VS Cerezo Osaka) or an opening match, final or play-off match. Soccer matches are usually played at weekends and are usually played during the day, except in the summer when they start in the evenings. Check out our football section to see what's on.

2. Kabuki: Kabuki tickets can be found on some weekdays, especially for the more expensive seat types. Their performances usually run for several weeks at the same venue, so you may be able to find a day that is not fully booked (but most likely not at weekends). 3. Music festivals: Larger music festivals are usually available right up to the last minute - if the venue is outdoors, they do not have small capacities.
